please add an option to disable zoom snapping
zoom snapping hurts the eyes during continuous fast drawing because it makes the drawing continuously jumping
and it throws off 20 percent of zoom values arbitrarily.

please add an option for continuous smooth zoom.

There are many options to use zoom, like mouse gestures, keyboard shortcuts, zoom tool …

the mouse gestures are smoother and without any stepping.

Can you explain which zoom method you are using, and why using zooming by mouse (or touch gesture depending on input device) doesn’t work for you?

I am drawing, so I use pen. I don't use gestures, because my other hand needed for the keyboard shorcuts.
And the touch features of the tablet are not really reliable, because no palm rejection.
I've used space ctrl in every 2d drawing software since the 2000s.
I use Z to zoom, or space+ctrl. both option snaps. the mouse scroll increments are not smooth.
I don't understand why it is so hard to implement an option to turn off the snapping.
I don't know any kind of smooth zooming option.
The space+ctrl method could be smooth without the awkward snapping.
