Anton Ditrikhs Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I want to Remove Layer in Affinity Designer, but I can make it only with mouse, if there is no selected object аnd also if multiple layers are selected. And there is no item in menu and no opportunity to make or change shortcut for this option. Bound by Beans 1 Quote
GarryP Posted March 12 Posted March 12 On Windows (at least), the Delete and Backspace keys will usually delete the currently selected layer(s), but I have noticed some circumstances when they don’t (I haven’t managed to figure out exactly what those circumstances are yet). If there is no selected layer then you won’t be able to delete a layer. If I have misunderstood your requirements then more details might be required. Quote
Anton Ditrikhs Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 I can delete object & layer together with delete or backspace buttons, when the object selected. But there is no option to delete with keyboard selected layer with out selecting object or when multiple layers are selected Quote
GarryP Posted March 13 Posted March 13 The terms “layer” and “object” are, for the most part, interchangeable in the Affinity applications (even Serif don’t seem to be consistent with them in either the documentation or the UI). Because of that, I don’t understand what you mean by “delete object & layer together”. If you can give us a full-screen (whole application UI) screenshot where we can see the ‘things’ you want to delete in your Layers Panel, with maybe more description of what you want, then that might help me to understand your request. You absolutely right, you can delete objects with buttons(hot keys). But you can not delete selected layer or selected multiple layers (without selecting objects) with keys, you can do it only with mouse. That what I mean. There is a lot of situations when I don't want to search for objects, it takes a lot of time, but I have layers. And I can delete layers, but only using mouse. Bound by Beans 1 Quote
