NotMyFault Posted March 11 Posted March 11 If you use layer snapping for a star with 3 nodes, Affinity reacts unpredictable in so many ways. Using the most basic snap to grid and all other off, Affinity uses 3 edge nodes to snap against grid, ok Affinity shows a distracting bounding box witch is not used for snapping transformation handles are aligned to bounding box or center of bounding box. Snapping is deviating and using actual shape edged and center of shape, not bounding box. Staff Chris B Posted March 31 Staff Posted March 31 Hey NotMyFault, What I think you are trying to say, is that when you drag down the alignment handle, that sits at the bottom of the bounding box, it snaps the bottom of the objects point? When in actual fact, you're expecting the bounding box to be at the point you intended to snap to? Am I understanding this correctly?
