Brush size edit only reads values as pixels

When editing brush size I can select different units. But no matter what unit I select the value is always read in pixels and later translated to points.

As far as I know, you can set the brush size using other units, but (at least on the iPad) it is always converted into and displayed in px (pixels) units after the size is set. So I'm about confused by your statement that it is in pt (points) for you.
