JonsJ Posted March 8 Posted March 8 I have a parent page with one Picture Frame on it. I've placed different sized images into the frame on three separate pages (the frame is set to Scale to Min Fit). I want to change the picture frame setting on the parent page so that all images appear in the top-left corner of the frame. I can do this on the individual pages, but when selecting properties for the frame on the Parent page, adjusting the anchor setting (the icon with 9 small squares) does nothing. Is there a way to adjust a frame's anchor property on the parent page and have the new alignment/anchor propagate to each page? Thanks so much. Quote
lepr Posted March 8 Posted March 8 (edited) Welcome to the Affinity forums. Re-applying the adjusted Master to the pages will update the Picture Frames. Edited March 8 by lepr Removed error Quote
JonsJ Posted March 8 Author Posted March 8 I tried reapplying the adjusted master, and do see how it worked. But I'm planning to have a 500 page document. The particular master will be applied to some, but not all pages. Will I have to go through the entire document and click on each page individually to reapply the master. I wish there was a way to update the master page, and have every page that used that master automatically update. Quote
MikeTO Posted March 9 Posted March 9 The moment you add a photo to a frame on a master page layer, changes made to the frame properties on the master will no longer be inherited by that frame. Updating the master will have no effect, except for moving and scaling the frame. The only solution, as @lepr pointed out, is to re-apply the master page. JonsJ Posted March 9 Author Posted March 9 Thanks @MikeTO. I understand. It'll be just a bit more manual than I had hoped. But I guess the 6-Ps comes to mind here. Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Placement! MikeTO 1 Quote
