JudithW Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I'm pretty sure I did exactly the same thing a hundred times earlier in the week when I wanted to fill a shape with an image, or when making a clipping path with a vector shape over an image. But I'm trying to do the same thing now and the image disappears. I'm trying to make a pennant shape filled with the pink denim image. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? The horizontal line 30mm down from the top of the vector shape is a score line so it's not involved and is not part of the pennant shape. I can't achieve the same thing by just using a square or a circle I draw, either. My pennant shape is definitely closed. Thanks. Upenant.mp4 Quote
JudithW Posted March 7 Author Posted March 7 Actually, never mind *sigh* I'm so sure that I had to drag it on the thumbnail before but now it works if I drag it over the name. Might be nice to know why I'm confused though. About this, I mean. Not the general confusion. I think that's age-related. Quote

You need to clip the denim to the shape by dropping the denim layer onto the name of the shape layer, or use the shape as a mask by dropping the shape layer onto the thumbnail of the denim layer. Thank you. I'll come back to this answer often, I think. Alfred 1 Quote
