Staff MEB Posted July 26, 2016 Staff Share Posted July 26, 2016 Hi RoryDR9, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) This is done using Symbols (available in Affinity Designer 1.5 Beta only). Basically you have to create a symbol from one of the "pies" then rotate it around a circle. This symbol contains a Pixel layer where you can paint with the Brush Tool in Pixel Persona. Then when you paint/make changes to one of them (symbols) in the Pixel layer, all the others update accordingly creating the "realtime mirroring" effect you see in the movie. There aren't (official) video tutorials about Symbols yet, but the Help file already contains information on how to create and use them: menu Help ▸ Affinity Designer Help ▸ Symbols and Assets ▸ Symbols Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
