I just wanted to create a bit of rope in a design. (My first vector brush application)

  • I found a file Rope Brush.afbrushes at this forum and downloaded it
  • In designer, at the right hand panel under Brushes I used the option Import Brushes
  • But once the download is imported successfully, I do not see the category Rope Brush
  • I tried five more times and each download was reported successful (and upping the number. See screen capture below)
  • But I cannot see or find a Brush "Rope" anywhere

Since this is my first encounter with vector brushes, I assume i am doing something wrong. Or is there somethig off with the Vector brush import?

It's a raster brush not vector, switch to the Pixel persona, you should find it there

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

All six copies of it! Maybe that’s why the dialog says “Imported 1 raster brushes” instead of “Imported 1 raster brush”, but I’m inclined to think that slightly careless programming is a more likely cause.
