Publisher 2.6 - Master Pages and Pages preview - too much spacing

when dragging to rescale, the margins are massive. 
the pages should be tighter together. it makes previewing pages very difficult.

Hi @DarkUrban and welcome to the forums. That's the worst it will be - if you widened it a bit more you'd get 3 columns of thumbnails.

However, there is likely more space between thumbnails in 2.6 than in 2.5 because a spread could have brackets around it to indicate that reflow is disabled. Perhaps this space could be removed for documents in which no spreads have reflow disabled, since most users will never disable reflow.
