Figrin Posted February 28 Posted February 28 (edited) Hey all, I'm at wit's end about Affinity Publisher crashing when pages are manipulated. Sometimes moving/deleting/adding a page to my document will work fine, other times it will repeatedly crash the document until I resort to completely rebuilding portions of the document in the new correct page order. The only thing that's certain is that something is happening when pages are rearranged that is causing the program to crash. I've tried updating graphics drivers (a frequent suggestion from the searches I've done), tinkering with the page re-flow settings, altering master pages, etc. but there are so many suggestions and settings, even just related to page flow, that I could really use some guidance. Thank you in advance for your help and expertise! Edited February 28 by Figrin extra clarity Quote
MikeTO Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Hi @Figrin and welcome to the forums. Which version are you using? 2.5.7 or 2.6.0? You said you've tinkered with page reflow settings so perhaps 2.6.0? Have you tried disabling hardware acceleration in Settings > Performance? Could you please attach a crash report? See below. Good luck Callum 1 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.6 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.6 for macOS Sequoia 15.5, MacBook Pro (M4 Pro) and iPad Air (M2)
Staff Callum Posted March 26 Staff Posted March 26 Hi Figrin, Is this something you are still having issues with? If so please could you provide the information Mike has requested above so I can look into this with you? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
