Tech Specs: Affinity Designer 2.5.7, Mac Os 15.1.1., Macbook Pro M1 Pro, 16 GB Ram

I often have issues with guides not showing after intentionally hiding them and reshowing them, no mather what i do (toggle show/hide guides) still does not show the guides. When i then dragn guides they appear on its own but without the old one.

After relaunching Affinity Designer, guides are there again, but then with all the guides i added after thinking they where gone.

Not sure hwat is going on with guides here.

@eindietmar: If this is something you can reproduce, it would be useful to have a screen recording showing it happening, and also showing us the View menu and the dialog from View > Guides at that point. Please include the complete application window in the recording.

Happy to provide a screenrecording of the mac version. Sadly i do have the german version of Affinity Designer, nevertheless it shows the issue. Sometimes as in this case guides will show up again after restart or forcing a rerendering. Sometimes it persists.

In this file it  seems to be related to a pixelimage that is overlayed with multiple vector objects.

Hope that helps.
