Hey All,

I know the macros are odd but I'm wondering why I can't select two items to align them to each other? I get a "cannot set current selection" error. Is there a workaround for this?
A very simple example of this is taking the star and aligning it to the bottom right of the square. The issue is I have 10 squares, all different sizes so the position will be different on each one. Is this not possible?

I really wish macro's could do most if not all functions.

Thanks

Select the two shapes
Start macro recorder
Align Right
Align Bottom

Apply
Stop macro recorder

In both cases set Align To as First Selected then if you select the rectangle first it won't move
Here's a V1 macro that possibly won't work on V2

Hmm okay thank you so I would have to run it for every single shape I want to align it to?

I said 10 rectangles but it's more like 100+ shapes that I need to do this for.

Yep. It can align multiple shapes to the same spot within each rectangle, I don't understand what you're trying to achieve
