VectorWhiz Posted February 28 Posted February 28 The impressionist of old have always impressed me, since they found ways to abandon strict realism without creating entirely unrealistic looking art. Conquering such an oxymoron with jots of paint borders on performing a miracle, especially on the level Monet and Renoir and their peers created their art. One slight suggestion: Perhaps adding a tad more bright colours here and there would enhance the painting. VectorWhiz Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Definitely an improvement. When looking at Renoir's 'Woman with a Parasol in a Garden' you see his miraculous (colouring) technique and talent for composition. I doubt if any of us mortals could even come close to what he achieved, but it at least gives us an idea of how to make a well balanced and appealing painting. j3rry 1 Quote Home: https://vectorwhiz.com : : : : Portfolio blog: https://communicats.blogspot.com : : : : https://writhedwrites.blogspot.com/
