Affinity Designer Crashes When Exporting to PDF

Hi all,

 

Just wanted to note that Affidnity Designer 2.5.7 crashed for me when exporting a PDF (even tried with all text removed), and then I updated to 2.6 and it still crashed shen exporting to PDF (again, with and without text, even tried with a large image only of 10 MB and it crashes). I tried on both mac Sonomo and mac Seqoia.. I hope this will be fixed soon! I use the application for work and am no forced to go back to Adobe Illustrator with a free trial..

Can you upload the Designer file that crashes when exported to PDF so we can investigate what is causing it to crash?

Check the threads. This problem goes back to the first version! No fix available!

Had to purchase Adobe yesterday because Affinity Designer 2 endlessly crashes when trying to export as a PDF or PSD. They claim this was just fixed, but that was only for CHINESE SCRIPTS, apparently they don't know that their are other language like Japanese that still are not working.

Could you upload your Affinity Designer file so we can take a look at what is causing it to crash when exporting to PDF?

Can you confirm which version of Affinity Designer you're using, and could you upload a file where you're experiencing the crash so we can determine the cause of the crash?
