I'm very frustrated.

I used the softwared a few months ago and it worked fine, but now that I bought the license and upgraded, it is not working at all.

I've spent hours and hours trying to figure this out. It must be a bug.

My styles are ALL CAPS. how to fix!!!!!!!!

I imported my MS Word file and all styles look great. I filled text boxes a few times but kept having to redo. I deleted the styles and tried to start fresh. No change.

Hi @HyrumJ and welcome to the forums,

Could you upload your Word document along with a Publisher file with the imported text styles so we can take a look at what is going on...

Affinity Designer 2.6.3 | Affinity Photo 2.6.3 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.3
MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse
HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse

Note that if All Caps is set at the text cursor position when you place text from MS Word, the imported text will all be be formatted in All Caps. For example, text formatted as Normal in MS Word will be formatted as "Normal + All Caps" in Publisher.

To avoid this, turn off All Caps before importing from Word. Or select all the text after importing and turn All Caps off with Text > Capitalization > None.
