Hi, I'am a bit irritated, in the past I remember I've used the aligning tool to distribute nodes evenly, but with the newest Affinity Designer Version it is not possible anymore, the distribution alignment tool is disabled. Is there a setting that disabled this function or Serif canceled the function? It's only possible to arrange the nodes horizontal or vertical, not a even distribution.

In this Video 2 Years ago it's still possible.

You may need to use the Alignment pop up instead of relying on the individual buttons you have placed on the toolbar.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

oh, yesterday I search a half day this toolbar item and haven't found it, now I found it and it really works.
Wired, why the other alignment tools with similar function don't work? crazy 🤦‍♂️

Hello Mr. Serif Interface designer? for a complete other function (arrange nodes and not objects) please do not use the same Icon!
And Serif Programmers, what is the difference why the arrange tool don't work like expected?

I also have discovered four of the Alignment Tools no longer turn on. I want to create an oblong with as a wavy line form. It's proving very difficult: Space Horizontally, Space Vertically, Distribute Horizontally and Distribute Vertically.

I am making a template for a pottery form - this could just as easily be a graphic for a label. So getting the correct distribution and curves around a shape is important.

I worked it out on a Straight line.

Pen tool, shift, draw straight line.

Use Node tool and randomly add Node points to the straight line. Select all Nodes in the straight line.

Then on the top menu, right, hover cursor over Alignment symbol, last one on the right

click drop down menu, the farthest right symbol is two thin vertical blue lines between two grey blocks click, on.

(Choose either Align Horizontally or the next line Align Vertically)

The Auto Distribute symbol lights up and check (tick) that box. Click Apply bottom right of that window.

However I have not managed to apply this series of moves to a circle or a pen drawn arc, or cutting a circle in half. So I remain a bit stuck to draw a wavy lined oval.
