Hi @KAB-TyBB,

I'm only seeing the issue when the objects are Shapes or Curves with a stroke... If you duplicate the larger of the two objects, expand the stroke and then Insert the Artboard using 'Selection' the Artboard should be sized correctly though I appreciate you are reporting this as a bug so the suggestion is only a workaround...

Alternatively with your sample, using 'Document' instead of 'Selection' should achieve the same thing...

The issue is indeed with items carrying a stroke. It's a bit awkward for me as I will produce several, or even dozens, of images within one design file creating an artboard for each and then exporting each artboard as a PDF. The ability to create an artboard with an accurate fit to the artwork is quite important with this workflow.

Thanks for your reply but I do think this is a bug that needs fixing.

I agree, whoever picks this thread up in the Serif moderation team will hopefully, log it as a bug to be fixed in a future update...
