KAB-TyBB Posted February 26 Posted February 26 When creating an artboard to fit to selection it doesn't fit the selection correctly. I have attached a video to demonstrate the problem. Recording 2025-02-26 100732.mp4 KarlLegion 1 Quote
Hangman Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Hi @KAB-TyBB, I'm only seeing the issue when the objects are Shapes or Curves with a stroke... If you duplicate the larger of the two objects, expand the stroke and then Insert the Artboard using 'Selection' the Artboard should be sized correctly though I appreciate you are reporting this as a bug so the suggestion is only a workaround... Alternatively with your sample, using 'Document' instead of 'Selection' should achieve the same thing... KAB-TyBB Posted February 26 Author Posted February 26 The issue is indeed with items carrying a stroke. It's a bit awkward for me as I will produce several, or even dozens, of images within one design file creating an artboard for each and then exporting each artboard as a PDF. The ability to create an artboard with an accurate fit to the artwork is quite important with this workflow. Thanks for your reply but I do think this is a bug that needs fixing. Quote

I agree, whoever picks this thread up in the Serif moderation team will hopefully, log it as a bug to be fixed in a future update...
