So I have what I assumed to be a terrible method of design where I re design every single page based on its individual content. Mostly because of spacing.

This seemed like a terrible way of doing things so I went looking for solutions, the only one I found seemed to be constraints, but they do not handle the my case I think. Constraints seem to handle only parent child relationships. I want sibling relationships. (or some other solution that creates an equivalent effect)

From the images below you can see my problem. I have multiple independent text fields and images on this page. But once a text field's content gets to large it just bleeds into the next part of the page; and inversely if a field contains less text it leaves an ugly gap of white space.

I know I can manually reset the spacing between all of these elements to redistribute the spacing evenly between them, but in many cases I don't want even spacing. I want proportional spacing equal to what I started with. In essence I want what constraints do, but for siblings.

So does anyone know how to do this? Or another method that gives a similar effect, so I don't have to to fix every page's vertical layout by hand?

Thanks

A single column multiple row table would be my quick and easy go-to solution

I would make four Paragraph Styles. Big old header, Centred body text, Header, and Body text.

Big old... is centre aligned.

Centred body text is centre aligned and italic. With a large space after to accommodate the graphic.

Header is Left aligned. With a small space before to make a gap.

Body text left aligned with nothing extra.

Then I would just use the one text frame and the spacing will be proper. The graphic can be pinned to a blank/empty Body text paragraph.

I am assuming the graphic is the same one used in your variations.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
