I recently noticed when using ruler and moving POI or adding guides by pencil, the guide snapped into while integer position, but another small blue line was shown within the ruler.(see between 5 and 6 only axis).

it seems i lifted the pen after moving it a bit further (unable to stop exactly and lift without moving)

so this blue line shows the last point where i touched the canvas or lifted the pen.

Is there any function in Photo where I utilize this memorized position?

E.g. paste ignores this position, and I found no other function which depends it.

To be honest, it is irritating me and I would like do get this deactivated, still having rulers and guides. Whenever I use forced pixel alignment, the blue line always jumps to erratic positions, not the position of e.g. a curve node, gradient node etc.

if force pixel alignment is active, the line should stay at the enforced position, not at the irrelevant random position where I lifted the finger or pencil.
