But there are exceptions: you may need close or cancel open UI (hit escape key) when entering text in text frames, or filling in other input areas accepting text like renaming layers, you must finish or cancel that operation. jackamus Posted February 25 Author Posted February 25 I for got to say that I am using AD! I am aware of the V key but the biggest problem is when using the Artistic test tool is letting go of it! R C-R Posted February 25 Posted February 25 There is a new option in 2.6 to escape from text entry mode and return to the Move Tool: Try holding down CMD & pressing Return.
