pedrobL Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Hi, Is there a way of making a line with an increasing dashed pattern, going from narrower to lengthier dashes? Example: - - - - -- -- -- -- --- --- --- --- ---- ---- ---- ---- Thanks for listening! Quote
NotMyFault Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Depends on the length of the line and the required number of dashes. requires to manually add multiple strokes by appearance panel and play with phase and gap. And good preparation e.g. by Excel to plan the settings per stroke to avoid unwanted overlap / interference. so it would ne far easier to just make separate curves for every pattern, and use the stroke panel. pedrobL 1 Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps. pedrobL Posted February 24 Author Posted February 24 Thank you, @NotMyFault! I'll give it a go with your suggestion, although I have low expectations on my skills to implement it. Currently, the "solution" I came up with was making 5 different lines with their respective different configurations and align them properly. Quote
