Hi,

Is there a way of making a line with an increasing dashed pattern, going from narrower to lengthier dashes?

Example: - - - - -- -- -- -- --- --- --- --- ---- ---- ---- ----

Thanks for listening!

Depends on the length of the line and the required number of dashes.

requires to manually add multiple strokes by appearance panel and play with phase and gap.

And good preparation e.g. by Excel to plan the settings per stroke to avoid unwanted overlap / interference.

so it would ne far easier to just make separate curves for every pattern, and use the stroke panel.

Thank you, @NotMyFault!

I'll give it a go with your suggestion, although I have low expectations on my skills to implement it.

Currently, the "solution" I came up with was making 5 different lines with their respective different configurations and align them properly.
