With the most recent 2.6 version, I am encountering a random black screen when using all three Affinity applications (mostly Photo). This coincided with a firmware update and downloading a new AMD GPU driver, although even after reverting back to the older driver, I'm still encountering the issue.

My screen will go black randomly when using the application, and I have to press a key on the keyboard to get the screen back on again. Functionality hasn't been affected really. I've turned off hardware acceleration in the apps and on my laptop. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums @Jordan W and apologies for the late response,

I'd first suggest checking through the thread below to ensure you don't have any of the third party apps running outlined in the thread below.

If the issue persists after rolling back you may need to perform a more thorough reset and clean of your drivers, such as using DDU (linked below) to Clean and restart before installing a fresh version of the drivers and rebooting again. If possible use the older AMD driver that was previously functional.

You could also try changing the 'Renderer' in the App Settings -> Performance to a different render device (Integrated GPU, WARP) to confirm it is the GPU causing the issue.
