jmwellborn Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I may be late to the game (or a Neanderthal idiot), but I cannot for the life of me find the Reset button among the "Photo Usability Improvements" section of the 2.6 Features and Improvements announcement. Did this by any chance not actually make it into the release version? Or if it did, where is it? The only reset button I can locate is the one that has always been there when I click Edit Brush. And I understand what that one does. Quote 24" iMAC Apple M1 chip, 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 16 GB unified memory, 1 TB SSD storage, Ventura 13.7.6. Photo, Publisher, Designer 1.10.5, and 2.6. Ldina Posted February 22 Posted February 22 @jmwellborn If it makes you feel any better, I couldn't find it either! If it's there, it's hiding (at least from me)! jmwellborn 1 Quote 2024 MacBook Pro M4 Max, 48GB, 1TB SSD, Sequoia OS, Affinity Photo/Designer/Publisher v1 & v2, Adobe CS6 Extended, LightRoom v6, Blender, InkScape, Dell 30" Monitor, Canon PRO-100 Printer, i1 Spectrophotometer, i1Publish, Wacom Intuos 4 PTK-640 graphics tablet, 2TB OWC SSD USB external hard drive.

Ldina Posted February 22 Posted February 22 @jmwellborn I'm guessing it did NOT make it into the v2.6 release, based on these release notes... https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/whats-new/#2-6-photo-usability-improvements R C-R 1 Quote 2024 MacBook Pro M4 Max, 48GB, 1TB SSD, Sequoia OS, Affinity Photo/Designer/Publisher v1 & v2, Adobe CS6 Extended, LightRoom v6, Blender, InkScape, Dell 30" Monitor, Canon PRO-100 Printer, i1 Spectrophotometer, i1Publish, Wacom Intuos 4 PTK-640 graphics tablet, 2TB OWC SSD USB external hard drive.

Yes, it seems that on the main All 2.6 Release Notes (inc. improvements and major fixes in 2.6.x patches) page it is mentioned but omitted from the linked one. jmwellborn 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.6 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7

That looks as though it is what may have happened. Possibly an editing issue. I didn’t think to look at FAQs. Possibly a Neanderthal issue on my part. Staff NathanC Posted March 20 Staff Posted March 20 Apologies for the late reply, sadly this feature didn't make it in to 2.6 release so the FAQ post has been updated accordingly. Quote
