Hi,

This is a bug that I've been experiencing on Affinity Designer for a few months before the 2.6 update and even post update it hasn't been resolved.
Sometimes when I click on the remove stroke option, it does not remove the stroke and shows the default black stroke on the object.
Please see the attached screenshot illustrating the issue.

I noticed this on my iPad as well as my Desktop PC (Windows OS).

Is anyone else also experiencing this problem?

EDIT: Apologies if I have posted in the incorrect forums. I couldn't find the correct forum to post this originally and thought that this was the place to post bugs.
I am not using the Beta Software; I'm using the official/regular version of Affinity 2.6.

So, you choose "set stroke to none" from the color panel?

Serif: The tooltip says "set fill to none" regardless of whether stroke or fill is selected (macOS).

Serif, did you foolishly fill the usability specialist role you advertised internally? If so, be transparent with your customers. Continuing without proper UX expertise both insults and affects your entire customer base.

You can have multiple strokes on an object. Check the appearance panel to see if this is the case

If not, uploading the document to the forum will be the easiest way to resolve this for you

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Thank you, that worked! It didn't occur to me to check the appearance panel. Silly me. Thank you for your suggestion!
