Since installing the latest version 2.6 and the new machine learning tools. Both of my computers run very slowly when using these tools.

One computer uses windows 10 and the laptop is windows 11. The windows 10 hs 16GB of RAM and the laptop has 8GB.

What is the recommended specs now to successfully use these tools?

The specs did not change when these tools were introduced

Obviously the faster your PC and the more memory you have the faster your PC will run, under normal circumstances

The machine learning tools are resource intensive so they can appear slow on lower specced computers

On Windows the ML tools only uses the CPU (no GPU) at the moment no matter what you set it to. Serif are working to fix this so you should/may see some performance boost when they do.

How slow is that?

Upload an image with the timings for the tools so others can advise what their times are. It's probably the best way to see if the times are "normal" or if you have a specific problem.

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
