[AD] Option-D for “Don’t save” while closing

Recommended Posts

I’m used to hitting Option-D if I close a window or quit an application, and there is unsaved work I don’t want to save (i. e. the prompt comes up asking me whether or not I want to save the document that’s about to be closed), which is the standard shortcut for any Mac application I’ve worked with so far, but this doesn’t work for Affinity Designer. Please implement that.

Hi VIPStephan

I use that shortcut all the time so I can verify that it does work with Designer, however it does not function in certain languages. Which language do you have the app in?

That’s it then. I’m using it in German.

My experience, however, is that any other (native) application works with the same shortcut, regardless of the language, so this is a little confusing UX wise.
