MrMappy Posted February 21 Posted February 21 When opening a file a get this: I go don't open and the file looks ok, so why am I being asked this? Quote
MikeTO Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Hi @MrMappy and welcome to the forums. If you know you saved the document before closing the document, just click Don't Open. Are you using 2.5.7 or 2.6.0, or some other version? I think this started with 2.5 and most of the things that caused it were fixed in 2.5.7 and 2.6.0, but there might still be causing it to happen in 2.6.0. I think I've seen this alert a couple of times recently but I just clicked Don't Open without thinking about it. MrMappy Posted March 11 Author Posted March 11 2.6.0 I've followed your advice and everything looks ok. MikeTO 1 Quote
MikeTO Posted March 11 Posted March 11 There does appear to still be at least one more trigger for the unnecessary recovery prompt in 2.6.0 and in the 2.6.2 beta but I don't know what it is. If you get the prompt, please take a screenshot with the prompt on screen. One of the previous triggers was specific to certain panels so being able to see which panels were open may provide a clue.
