Animated GIF export (layers -> frames).

Recommended Posts

I completely agree. I don't think we need anything too crazy complicated. It would be nice to have keyframe animation on a layer or group level to keyframe properties like:

  • X&Y position of layer (including under masks)
  • alpha %
  • visibility (on/off)

It would let me create animations of UI elements to simulate UX, for example. It would also let me do a lot of fun simple character animation loops.

Couldn't agree more.

I only just purchased Affinity Photo yesterday and was very disappointed to find no support for basic animated GIF editing/creation.

Totally agree! It would be really useful to be able to animate and export simple gifs inside the software.
