Hello, first off I want to say I love your products and I am happy that they are available as an option to the Adobe monopoly, however I want to say the way that selection of objects in your programs happens is a nightmare and is literally pushing me to go renew my subscription to adobe for access to indesign. I use affinity publisher a lot to edit PDF files and if I want to select an object or text in the document. it is forcing me to select the object it feels is the highest in the layer list. Now I dont know if there is a way to turn this off or if there is a patent owned by Adobe that prevents you from allowing the user to select any object or text on the document surface without having to go over to the layer panel and search for the item in the list of layers then the user is allowed to click on it. This honestly is extremely frustrating to me and there must be an option to turn this mode off that I am missing. I would really love to know. there are other nuances that bother me about the functionality of the softwares but I can work around those but this one for me is a large pebble in my shoe that I cannot ignore. Can I get a work around that will allow me to click on any object in a document that I point my cursor on and have it selected and not be beholding to the layer hierarchy list. Thanks in advance
