Bluufs Posted January 31 Posted January 31 I need to make a box that isn't a photo box or a text box it just sits behind type with a colour fill. In QXP there was an option for item > content> none. Does affinity have that option? Quote
Hangman Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Hi @Bluufs, Assuming it's an independent text frame then you could apply a colour fill to the Text Frame itself using the Text Frame panel... The same panel will allow you to set insets if you wish to offset the text from the frame borders... Bluufs Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 Hangman, Huge thanks for the detailed and simple explanation. Your way is not my way but that's ok. After 30 yrs with QXP I'm going to be doing a lot of things differently and now I can move on to the next obstacle. Cheers Hangman 1 Quote

Cheers Any drawn rectangle with or without a fill that sits behind something, like your text frame in the first post, is exactly like a None frame in QXP. Quote
