Sxynide Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Its a bit late at night for me, but... I went to go export my work and I can't get one part of my file to export correctly. It seems the file is failing to expand to the stoke correctly when exporting. But I can't tell why. I have tried a couple things to try and fix it. But I can't get this one section to fix itself to send it off to my vendor for production. Could someone help me figure this out? Quote
Staff Lee D Posted January 31 Staff Posted January 31 @Sxynide Welcome to the forums. It could relate to the stroke having a pressure profile or perhaps the align option used. It would help to have a copy of your file to take a look at. Can you copy that part/section to a new Designer document and upload it? Quote
Sxynide Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 Sorry for the delayed response, but here is a copy of the design file. Thank you for helping me! Spotted Shark for beanie - Copy.afdesign Quote
lepr Posted February 1 Posted February 1 The pressure profile of the objects' strokes has a superfluous central node which the current Affinity does not process correctly when doing stroke expansion. The expansion proceeds correctly if you remove that node. Several stroke expansion bugs came with v2.5 and are still not fixed in the current release candidate for 2.6, so consider going back to v2.4.2 for the foreseeable future. Quote
Sxynide Posted February 1 Author Posted February 1 I will try to go back to 2.4.2 for now and see what that does. Do you know if you saw that it was just one node in that shape? or was it several? I just am having a hard time understanding how I managed to do that with only that one dice shape by accident lol. Thank you for helping me Quote

Thank you for helping me I was talking about a node in the pressure profile of the strokes, not a node in the geometry of one or more shapes. Quote
