Affinity Rat Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Both Affinity Photo v1 and v2 misbehaving, behaviors include hanging on opening logo, inability to load file, screen just black or sometimes message “helper app not responding”. If v1 hangs or misbehaves v2 hangs too misbehaves too. Even screen capture not working properly. Restarting the iPad was no help. Turns out the problem is associated with a link to a server that is maintained in the file manager app, that is no longer available. Disconnect the server restart the iPad and all is fine. Quote

Can you give me a noobs guide to this? Before the ipad becomes a fancy frizbee lol Quote
Affinity Rat Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 @Lenore_01 This only applies to iPads that have a server link thats no longer available. Look in the file manager app and expand the Shared menu item to reveal the ip address that is no longer available, click on the icon encircled in red to delete the link, then restart the iPad. If you dont have the file manager installed, then this isnt the problem. Good luck. 😊 Quote
