sgasioro Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Hi, I've found that mask on group works differently than on layer, actually rendering the mask instead of applying it. Attached the picture. As you can see there is white border around the red, and it should not be there. When you rasterize the group it renders correctly. If you enable the pixel layer on top you can see it renders correctly. af-group-mask.afphoto Quote
GarryP Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Welcome to the forums @sgasioro This looks like another issue which was reported here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/139143-mask-behaves-wrong-on-group/ Try the ‘work-around’ which was mentioned there and see if that helps. Quote
carl123 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Note: This bug is fixed in the current 2.6 beta, which should be available out of beta very soon Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. sgasioro Posted January 27 Author Posted January 27 Great the it will be fixed in the next release. But "3 years later..." to fix such an basic issue, wow. Quote

I'm trying to switch from Adobe products to alternatives, and seeing that such a very basic and important feature was ignored for so many years is very concerning. Quote
