Lovey Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Hello, I'm just doing a beginners tutorial (starting back from square one to learn things I have missed and solve problems). This an issue I have had from the beginning and thought that maybe I was doing something wrong, but I don't think so. Black will work on the mask but white will not. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted my computer, then reinstalled hoping that if it's is a setting that it would reset and work correctly, but it has not. I hope you can help. Quote
lepr Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Look at the context toolbar: the brush's blend mode is Multiply, and multiplying by white will do nothing. You'll get the behaviour you expect by setting that to Normal. Quote
Old Bruce Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Your Blend mode is set to Multiply, change to Normal. This is on the Context toolbar from your screenshot. 5 minutes ago, Lovey said: Black will work on the mask but white will not. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Lovey Posted January 26 Author Posted January 26 Thank you so much both of you, and lepr for giving me the right setting. I don't know how it was set to that. I know that I didn't do it. Is that default? Quote
