rocthered Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Hi everyone, I have a strange problem. I have an image generated from Matlab exportgraphics, which by default should generate images in RGB space. After importing to publisher by dragging, the color seemed to be faded. I tried to manipulate the color format (RGB/8 or RGB/32) and color profile in document setup. But none of them can keep the original color. MS powerpoint can keep the color, but apparently the function is too limited. Somehow the color faded too when I drag it into this forum, so I cannot show it here. But I attached the png file (zipped in case it changes color somehow). I am using Affinity publisher the newest version of 2.5.7 in Windows 11. Is there any way I can keep the original color in affinity? I do not want to print it, just need to arrange it in my screen to show. Thanks, Dapeng Sub.zip Quote
NotMyFault Posted January 23 Posted January 23 For me the png looks totally fine, same if I create a RGB publisher and place the png. can you upload the publisher file? rocthered Posted January 24 Author Posted January 24 OK I found a way to show it. Here's a screenshot. Right is directly opening the png file and left is dragged in to publisher. You see the color is different. Quote

NotMyFault Posted January 24 Posted January 24 The file looks ok, too. So I assume there is something wrong with color profiles in you OS or display settings. read both articles: https://affinityspotlight.com/article/display-colour-management-in-the-affinity-apps/ Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps.
