Bobby1127 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Trying to use the object selection on my IPad Pro 6th gen M2. Cannot locate machine learning. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Quote
Staff EmT Posted January 23 Staff Posted January 23 Hi @Bobby1127 This is not something we can reproduce here, could you send a screenshot of the iPad Settings > About page so we can get some more details about your iPad. If you turn off stage manager or restart the app, does this still occur? Quote List of V2 FAQ's | Affinity Online Help | Affinity Video Tutorials | Beta Software Forums | Bug Reporting Guidance
Bobby1127 Posted January 23 Author Posted January 23 I turned off stage manager as well as restarting the APP, no change. Paul Mudditt 1 Quote

fde101 Posted January 25 Posted January 25 That error message is strangely worded for an iPad, as all iPads use Apple Silicon. The A series chips are also Apple Silicon, as are the S series chips (used in the watches) and the U series chips (used in the smaller devices such as the AirTags). The earliest iPhones and iPods used non-Apple-Silicon ARM chips, and the Mac has gone from Motorola chips (680x0 originally then later PowerPC) to Intel chips and now to Apple Silicon ARM chips. Agreed, it should say the feature needs an Apple M series SOC (system on a chip) Quote Affinity Photo, Designer, Publisher 1.10 and 2.5 on macOS 15.3 Beta Sequoia on M1 Mac Mini 16GB 1TB Affinity Photo, Designer, Publisher 1.10 and 2.5 on Windows 10 Pro.
