Freddy Davis Posted January 22 Posted January 22 I think I have done something that I don't know how to fix. I have tried a number of things, but so far nothing has worked. Everything was working the way I want it earlier, so I think I must have clicked on something accidentally and don't know what I did or now to fix it. First - I would like for the document to be centered in the viewing area so that I can see both pages at the same time. Now it is centered in a way that part of the document is hidden behind the pages bar. I can move it, but every time I use the page down keyboard shortcut, it shifts back to what you see below as a default. Second - Once the first one is done, is it possible to move the ruler from the left side of the pages bar to the right side so that it is next to the document itself? Here is how it currently appears on my screen. Thanks. Quote
Old Bruce Posted January 22 Posted January 22 You should "dock" the panels. Window > Studio > Show left studio. As it is now the studio panes are floating. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Freddy Davis Posted January 22 Author Posted January 22 I clicked on reset studio and that took care of it. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Quote
MikeTO Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Docking the studio panels is a good idea, but Document > Next/Previous Page will always centre the spread in the document window. This isn't an issue if you have a large enough screen to view the entire spread at the desired magnification, but on a smaller screen it will always be in the wrong position and you'll have to scroll left or right. There's no workaround for this. I work on a small screen and I avoid the issue by scrolling the window with a trackpad. The rulers cannot be moved, they are stuck on the top and left of the document window. Freddy Davis Posted January 22 Author Posted January 22 Thanks for the insight. Fortunately, my monitor is large enough to show the whole thing. However, when I travel I only have my laptop, which is a much smaller screen and that insight should be helpful. I appreciate you. Quote
