Hi. I hope all is well with you and yours!

I'm having some trouble recording macros. I'd like to create a macro where I can place a background image behind another image (with transparent background). After starting recording, I try to place an image, but get an error (see attached).

So I started recording, opened the background, copied and pasted. However, I also get an error when I try to move to the bottom of the layer stack. How should I be doing this?

I'm using version 2.6.0.3058 (Beta) on Windows.

Blessings,

Mark

Hello @TriTexCreations and welcome to the forums.

Unfortunately, the macro function does not allow you to record file operations such as loading, placing, saving or exporting.

Moving layers does not work with the context menu icons, but recording works via the Arrange menu and selecting the option or pressing the assigned shortcuts.
