Hi I am working on a Book Cover design in Affinity Photo. When I zoom in you can see a red line around the white text.  From the screen shot (attached) you can see no stroke is selected and also 'show snapping candidates' is also not selected. In the .pdf  that is exported you can also see the lines (attached zoomed screenshot).

 

I am on a Macbook Pro.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

The screenshot only shows that the "Rectangle" that you have just selected/drawn with the Rectangle Tool (see Tools panel) does not have any Stroke set. Select the problematic text with the Move tool or Text tool.
