Affinity Rat Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I’ve noticed that Affinity Products locking folders prevent file manager actions. I was unable to save my afpalette file to anyone of >3 folders on my iCloud drive, but able to save locally on my iPad. The only folders affected were those accessed by Affinity products APho v1 &2, ADez v1 and 2. Since iPad never closes apps unless user intentionally closes them, i had 4 Affinity Apps in the background. Upon closing them I was able to copy to my desired folder using file manager. Quote
Affinity Rat Posted January 21 Author Posted January 21 Its possible my iPad hung and restarted leaving behind a mess of locked files. My iPad certainly did hang and restarted, so maybe this the cause. Going into file manager while APho in use, I can confirm APho does lock some files. Quote
Staff Callum Posted January 27 Staff Posted January 27 Hi Affinity Rat, As far as I'm aware the app shouldn't lock any folders unless perhaps it is actively saving or loading from that folder. Have you been able to recreate this behaviour? Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
