  1. What Application are you using? [Publisher]
  2. Are you using the latest release version? Yes 2.5.7.2.9.4.8
  3. Can you reproduce it? Yes
  4. Does it happen for a new document? Yes
  5. If you cannot provide a sample document then please give an accurate description of the problem for example it should include most of the following:
  •    What is your operating system and version? iOS 18.1
  •    Is hardware acceleration (in Preferences > Performance) ON or OFF ? (and have you tried the other setting?) Can’t find this setting
  •    What happened for you (and what you expected to happen) Changed text box text size to 200, typed text, highlighted the text, opened colour picker, chose colour, clicked off pop up, app freezes then crashes.
  •    Provide a recipe for creating the problem (step-by-step what you did). Open publisher 2, new document, draw framed text box, change text size to above 200 (may crash on smaller text but I haven’t tested, it doesn’t crash when the text is 12pt), type something, highlight text, click colour picker at the top (colour picker on the right doesn’t have this issue), change the colour, click off, the app should then crash.
  •    Screenshots (very handy) or a screen capture/video.
  •    Any unusual hardware (like tablets or external monitors or drives that may affect things) or relevant other applications like font managers or display managers. No
  •    Did this same thing used to work and if so have you changed anything recently? (software or hardware) I can’t remember….

@Toadstool Welcome to the forums.

Thank you for the report, I get a similar crash when following most of your steps. For me the text size doesn't matter but after selecting a colour, if you then switch to another tool (Move for example) the colour dialog remains on screen. If you then tap to select a colour the app closes.

I've logged this with the developers to look into further.
