AvdB Posted January 21 Posted January 21 (edited) I wrote a book formatted in Adobe Hebrew font. Corps size 12.5 pt. What is the fastest and best way to convert this to the corps Times New Roman 12.0 pt (or 11,5 pt) without confusing the book. With experience, converting to another font often goes wrong. Pictures shift, text too. Is it perhaps best to copy the text to a word processor and create a new file in Publisher or can I also do this major change in Affinity Publisher? All this has to do with shortening the document by quite a few pages. Thank you very much. Edited January 21 by AvdB Now in English Quote
MikeTO Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Make the change in Publisher - copying the text to a word processor means you would lose other things when you bring the text back. If the text is formatted using paragraph styles, edit the styles to change the font. if you didn't use paragraph styles, use Find and Replace to change the font. Yes, pictures will shift and text will take up more or less space depending on the fonts you change, but that is unavoidable. Any change to the font will require work.
