Object Selection Tool freeze

I can confirm that Affinity Photo still freezes and has delays in executing commands. I attach a video. I am using version 2.6.0.3027, RTX 3060 laptop, Studio Driver 566.36

Hi @adirusf

When you exit Refine to a new layer, the Object Selection tool is still selected and so it starts analysing the new pixel layer, you can see this by the cursor changing to a clock icon.
The delay that occurs when you switch tool, is because the Object Selection tool is still analysing the image in the background.
