Rich-art Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Hi there, I am very pleased with the Affinity apps but now I am keep on getting the same message: Sorry, there was a problem launching the application. Cannot communicate with other Affinity apps. I am using the latest version of all 3 V2 apps on MacOS Monterey 12.7.6 I even try to delete all Affinity apps and reinstall them. But this worked for one or two times opening a document and the I get the same message again. Does anybody know what is going on. Oh I do not have any kind of firewall active. Quote
Staff Lee D Posted January 23 Staff Posted January 23 @Rich-art Welcome to the forums. See this FAQ article for why this message is usually displayed. Have you tried turning off the firewall within macOS to see if this resolves the issue or adding our apps to the allow list? System Settings/Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall. From here you can turn it off or click Add and add each of our apps to the list of allowed apps. Quote
