ryhopewood Posted January 18 Posted January 18 (edited) Hi everyone I am a real newbie to Affinity Photos / Publisher and pretty much a newbie for most imaging software. I have a series of black and white photos that have been edited in either GIMP or Pixelmator pro. Some were colour images that I have changed to black and white. When I load these images into Affinity Photos or Affinity Publisher they display with a red tint. The same is also true if I load them into Microsoft Photos. However, in GIMP or Pixelmator Pro or Microsoft Paint or Microsoft Word then the images appear in black and white with no tint. I don't know what is happening! How can I edit the images so that they are in black and white across all my software packages or change the settings in Affinity Photos so the images load as black and white? I have purchased the Affinity package recently and I really want to be able to use it to create and publish. All help gratefully received and thanks for looking at my post, Ian EDIT. I have resolved this by fixing the Color Management in Windows 11. Edited January 18 by ryhopewood Updated to say that problem is fixed. Quote
ryhopewood Posted January 18 Author Posted January 18 I have discovered that this issue relates to the Windows version only. When I load the image on the Mac OS version of Affinity Photos, it displays correctly in black and white. I am now going to investigate my color management settings on the Windows 11 PC. Quote
ryhopewood Posted January 18 Author Posted January 18 I have now resolved this by checking the Color Management in Windows 11 and reinstalling my video driver. Thanks. lepr 1 Quote
