It works everywhere if you left-click on the name and drag - the parameter will change.

Problem: but it doesn't work if you click on the Stroke parameter, it would be convenient to change the line thickness just by clicking on Stroke

(Note: I remember that you can use [ ] on the keyboard, but I'd like to do it without it).

In your last screen-grab, the lighter grey area which shows the preview of the stroke is a button which brings up a pop-up panel.

If you click the button you can use a slider to change the stroke width, or drag the “Width” text as you suggested.

You can’t drag the “Stroke” text which is to the left of the black rectangle in that screen-grab because that’s not directly related to the stroke width, it’s just a text label.

Having said that, it might be nice if there was a way to quickly change the stroke width like you suggest.

In Designer and Publisher there’s also the Stroke Panel which is useful if you are doing a lot of stroke manipulation.

Yes I know about the drop down menu, I'm talking about usability improvements that made it faster and more convenient to work.
