Export taking FOREVER more than 2 hours... in Affinity Pub 2.5.7

I am trying to export a file 64.1MB and it's taking a really long time, before today i exported a 55.9Mb file and it did take about 10 min.. 

Is this normal for Pub 2.5.7, seems like I'm reading a lot about this happening.

I'm on a new computer with i5 4400

Reading about people going back to v1, how can I access it if I downloaded when it was already 2?

I have to download 9 more of those files and can´t see how i am going to do that with this happening.

The only way to analyse something like that is to have access to the file to test it

Can you upload it to the forum?

Hi, thank you for your answer but no i cannot send it to the forum.

Might wait for the support team. 

Thought someone might have an idea about how to download the V1 instead. Seems Affinity´s upgrade to have preview load before you can export a real issue for people and taking a long time.

You don’t need to wait for the preview to render before exporting; you can press the Export button at any time.

Is it the preview render which is taking a long time, or the export process (after pressing Export), or both?

I tried to export before the preview was loaded (looked at calculation and at 100% i exported)  and then it came up with an error window in export process. The other file that is exactly the same i could export within 15min. 

Both are taking a long time, export process usually 5 min or so but preview render a lot longer.

Am not at home but will check again this evening what kind of error it came up with.

Hi, when trying to export and not getting preview loaded fully this comes up: 

I previously exported almost exact same file and no problems.

I see you are exporting to iCloud. This makes me think that you could have linked files in your document which are located in the cloud. This means the application must download each of the linked images from the cloud. Slow internet speeds will make for a long time.

Myself, I avoid cloud services like the plague.

Well, the document i managed to download has linked files on icloud and the one i am trying to download has embedded so i changed the settings hoping it would be faster but it´s the same...

Could it be an issue with exporting if you have preflight of missing dictionary for language?

Mine is set to ENG/IS but i have ENG/US on the computer, still it gives me preflight for this. 

But i have been able to download before with no issues other than taking 10 min.
