Hello,

can anyone tell me how to do this process in Affinity? Currently using Photoshop but want out.

Here’s what I do:

-Open a scanned ink line drawing (jpeg/ tiff) in Photoshop

-Desaturate image

-Adjust levels so black line is as black as I can get

- Cut out line drawing using lasso tool

- Open a new PS doc

- Create a new layer, press Q for Quick Mask

- Paste line drawing in

- Invert image

- Fill using foreground colour (black)

This gives just the black line. This is the main function I use Photoshop for, and once I’ve got to grips with it in Affinity think I’ll make the move over.

Any tips?

Thank you 🙂
