Synchronising styles in books

Using this feature I would expect it to synchronise the text style settings based upon the selected 'master' chapter but as far as I can see it doesn't affect the 'hyphenation' setting. In the 'master' chapter I have auto-hyphenation set for a paragraph style but when I check the next chapter the auto-hyphenation is off for the same style. 

Is this correct or am I missing something?

Hi @TBA,

I've just tested that here, and it's working as expected. It synchronises the auto-hyphenation settings for the paragraph text style across all chapters on both Windows and Mac.

If you can't get this to work can you upload a couple of sample chapters along with the .afbook file so we can test it with your file...

ok, found the issue, I have to select all the chapters and then synchronise, not obvious!

I had the same expectation the first time I tried it. It's designed this way so that you can sync a couple of chapters without modifying the rest.
