4Candles Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Hi. I have a number of requests for small tweaks. 1. Show progress bar when saving. There is one when exporting, but not when saving. 2. Create history snapshot of open state (very useful for going back, or comparing); also one for save. 3. Keep settings in Export dialog between launches (picking up next time is just one continuous session for me). Tedious having to choose again. 4. Remember dialogue box position. They default to down right, up right is easier to work with (no wrist twist). 5. Show mask overlay on key press (same as Photoshop). 6. When in painting greyscale images, show rubylith overlay, not grey, which is impossible to see. 7. Change S character in KBSC to E when exporting (not at desktop, but maybe Cmd+Opt+E if not taken). S=Save, E=Export. 8. Allow click to select tool shown in toolbar, and click-hold to select from list. 9. In Apply Image, remember last selection (if I want another, I can always select but currently have to select everytime I use it). 10. Expand the document name or cut the middle (currently, the asterisk is hidden with long names). 11. In Image Size and Canvas Size, auto update second box when values in one is changed and AR is linked. 12. This is a big one: use blend technology in shadows/highlights under the hood, or AI. Currently, I can rescue highlight detail using multiply but they just turn grey when using S&H. Quote
Old Bruce Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I have to admit I don't quite follow most of your requests but this one is available. 2 hours ago, 4Candles said: 7. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
4Candles Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 Thanks, Old Bruce. I meant as a default as E for Export is more appropriate. Quote
